21/10/2022

Jakarta, October 21, 2022 - The government is targeting financial inclusion in Indonesia of 90% in 2024 (Based on the Regulation of the Coordinating Minister for the Economy Number 4 of 2021 concerning Implementation of SNKI). In commemoration of the 2022 Financial Inclusion Month, throughout October 2022 UangMe conducted several educational outreach activities both online and supported regulators by participating in OJK Goes To activities held by the Financial Services Authority.

This activity was held as a collaboration momentum to strengthen the role of legal Joint Funding Fintech which can be an alternative funding solution for Indonesian people, especially the millennial generation. Director of Regulation, Licensing and Supervision of OJK Fintech, Tris Yulianta, said that every offer via WA/SMS contact is confirmed to be illegal because legal fintech is prohibited from access other than cameras, microphones and locations. Operationally, technology, and provisions have been regulated.
